Many of the entrepreneurs that come in to speak with TechAlliance’s Startup Services team have only an idea or a proof of concept. But to tap into many of the resources, services and funding opportunities available to startups, a prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) is required. This is a challenging milestone for many entrepreneurs to reach as access to the costs of software, equipment and expertise can be prohibitive for a startup.
In order to address this gap, TechAlliance and the Western Research parks have created the MVP Lab, accessible to companies needing assistance to get their ideas to the next level. Located in the Convergence Center in the Western Discovery park, the MVP Lab is a space where entrepreneurs can developer their minimum viable products by working with expert designers (at no cost to qualified companies) and the required hardware and software.
The Lab is also a collaborative space for entrepreneurs to meet and work in, as short and long term hot desk space is available to rent. The MVP Lab is also located close to other business acceleration services and resources available from TechAlliance and in the Western Discovery Park.
The MVP Lab is decreasing the barriers to entrepreneurship, and is a critical part of the startup infrastructure in London. Are you ready to be an MVP?
